Enjoy an unforgettable day!
Are you looking for fun and action? Then come to SENSAPOLIS! The indoor adventure park on the airfield Böblingen/Sindelfingen is waiting for you! Here you can experience an unforgettable day with friends and family. The park is open almost all year, fully air-conditioned and weather-independent.
On the more than 10,000 square metres, there is much to discover: in the romantic Fairytale Castle you can walk like princesses and princes through gloomy halls and dark secret passages. Do you want more action? Then take one of the 16 slides with different lengths, shapes, and speeds to the test. There will be something for everyone, guaranteed! From the slower family slide to the steep high-speed slide with speed metres. Do you want some thrill? Then you can balance the tree trunks, bridges, and nets in the high-rope climbing course directly under the hall ceiling at a height of 14 metres. Among the latest attractions is the Flying Fox, with which you can fly through the hall, 12 metres above the ground.
But that’s not all. In the huge spaceship, you fly through asteroid swarms on
space bikes and fight aliens. Fun and games are not enough? Do you want to learn exciting things? Then visit the exhibition „Our Place in Space“ on the second floor of the spaceship. There you can, for example, investigate how far-away galaxies, shooting stars, and black holes are formed. Do you want to know more? At the Science Centre, you can experiment with a wide variety of topics from research, nature, the environment, and science and discover a lot of new things. For groups such as school classes, we offer special Discovery Tours, to deepen the knowledge in individual topics.
Do you need a breather? No problem! We offer refreshments in our restaurant. All dishes are freshly prepared right before your eyes. Here or in the separate party rooms you can also celebrate your children’s birthday. In the party rooms, you can even choose how the tables and the room are decorated. Choose from the themes Pirate, Princess, Knight, Hello Kitty, Cockaigne, Castle Kitchen or Magic Kitchen.
Even outside the opening hours, the park fun continues. Very popular are the regularly offered public events such as the 30+ Parties, Halloween or the New Year’s Eve Party for families. In addition, the park is a popular venue for corporate or family celebrations of all kinds.
Race Fever at the Sensadrom
Since autumn 2013, SENSAPOLIS has another spectacular attraction: an eGo-Kart Track! Motorsport-inspired children, adolescents, and adults can hit the gas at the Sensadrom. With the 22 state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly electric go-karts you can reach up to 50 kilometres per hour. The ride takes you across a 2,400 square metre hall on three levels and a track length of 30 metres. On the new tribune, spectators can take a seat and cheer on the riders. Pure racing atmosphere! During the day, the Sensadrom is reserved exclusively for SENSAPOLIS guests. In the evening, the circuit is then released for all go-kart enthusiasts.
Traditional Wood-Fired Oven Pizza
Great news for all lovers of wood-fired oven pizza: In September 2013 the „quindi“ opened at SENSAPOLIS. The new restaurant’s menu offers especially pizza, pasta, and Asian dishes. But they do not serve just any pizza; they offer traditional pizza baked in a wood-fired oven.
Overview of our Attractions
The Fairytale Castle is built from solid bricks, is about 16 metres high and has a total area of about 840 square meters on four floors. Visitors can feel like princesses and princes here. Some of the rooms and halls are connected with secret passages. Dance lessons are offered in the ballroom. The King’s treasure is hidden in the top tower of the castle. The Castle’s Art Workshop provides an area for creative activities. The children are supervised by trained educators and can create their artwork together under guidance.
The spaceship is also about 16 metres high and extends on three levels over an area of approximately 800 square metres. The interactive game on the command bridge is particularly popular. The visitors fly on space bikes through asteroid swarms and fight aliens. On the second floor is the exhibition „Our Place in Space„, where exciting questions about the stars and their constellation are answered.
Action and Climbing World
The action and climbing world consists of four individual attractions and is suitable for many age classes thanks to the different degrees of difficulty. The High-Rope Climbing Course is especially for the brave: A 48-metre long course at a height of 14 metres over swaying tree trunks, bridges, and nets. The Climbing Wall consists of a replica of a twelve-meter high rock face with five different routes that each have a different level of difficulty. The 100-metre-long Adventure Trail is linked to five adventure towers at a height of twelve meters. Visitors overcome challenges such as adventure stairs, climbing chimneys, tree trunks, and wooden ladders. This circular course is completely enclosed with nets and can thus easily be overcome by rather hesitant children. With the Flying Fox, the kids can fly through the hall on a 50-metre long steel cable at a height of 12 meters above the ground.
In total, the park offers 16 slides with different lengths, shapes, and speeds. There is something for everyone: from the slower family slides to the steep high-speed slide with speed metres. Visitors can reach up to 40 kilometres per hour.
The wooden Pirate Ship is also waiting to be explored. In addition to the games, there are also water basins where the visitors can play and experiment with ships and watergates.
eGo-Kart Track Sensadrom
Motorsport-inspired children, adolescents, and adults can hit the gas at the Sensadrom. With the 22 state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly electric go-karts you can reach up to 50 kilometres per hour. The ride takes you across a 2,400 square metre hall on three levels and a track length of 30 metres. On the new tribune, spectators can take a seat and cheer on the riders. During the day, the Sensadrom is reserved exclusively for SENSAPOLIS guests. In the evening, the circuit is then released for all go-kart enthusiasts.
In the Fun Shooter, the children can shoot with softball cannons and have fun with the many soft balls. They can also climb and slide there.
The RollyToys Area is aimed primarily at children between three and seven years. They can drive with pedal cars and master a course. Many children also use the RollyToys to load and unload Lego stones.
The pedagogical playground entertains children up to three years of age with activities appropriate for their development and age.
On the first floor of the park is a cheerful colourful pony ranch, where the young guests from 3 years and adults can „ride“. The small fabric horses are available in three different sizes so that each visitor can choose his or her animal. Pure riding fun for small and big horse fans!
How are volcanoes formed? What are optical illusions? Children and adults will find answers to these and many more questions at the Science Centre. Exciting topics from the fields of research, science, nature, and the environment are explained playfully and invite you to join in. Visitors can, for example, experiment and thus acquire knowledge in an entertaining way. The topics are illustrated by different media such as films, photos, texts, or picture stories. Groups such as school classes, for example, have the opportunity to deepen topics in so-called „Discovery Tours„. Again, the focus is laid on fun and experimental learning. There is also a Wheelchair Course at the Science Centre. Children can put themselves in a handicapped person’s position and thus promote their understanding for people with disabilities. On a total length of around 40 metres, children can use a wheelchair to overcome various floor coverings, ramps, and platforms without the help of others.
Exhibition „Our Place in Space“
The history of our universe begins about 13.6 billion years ago with the Big Bang. Since then, new objects such as shooting stars, galaxies, giant stars and black holes have been created in space. The night sky is full of secrets and exciting questions. The exhibition „Our Place in Space“ is on the second floor of the space ship. The themes of the exhibition are: „From the Big Bang to Today“, „Our Solar System“, „Meteorites and Asteroids“, „The Quest for Extra-Terrestrial Life“ and „How Can We Know It All“? An interesting exhibition for those who want to get closer to the secrets of space. The integrated space cinema shows a film specially produced for SENSAPOLIS, illustrating the space and the existing size relationships of planets.
